By placing an order on alteredstudios.co.uk, you agree to the terms outlined here. Please read them before ordering. We may update these terms, our prices, products and policies at any time; the version in force when you place your order is the one that applies to it.

2. Placing an order

When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. We'll send an order confirmation email, but a contract is only formed once we dispatch your order. Orders are subject to availability. In rare cases we may need to cancel or refund an order — for example if stock runs out, a pricing or technical error occurs, or we're unable to verify your payment. If that happens we'll let you know and refund anything you've paid in full.

3. International orders (EU, US and other countries outside the UK)

Orders shipped outside the UK are processed through our international commerce partner, Global-e. For those orders:

• Global-e acts as the merchant of record. This means Global-e is the legal seller of the goods to you, and Global-e's terms and conditions also apply to your purchase. Altered Studios remains responsible for the products themselves and for customer service.
• Prices are shown and charged in your local currency and include applicable duties, taxes and cross-border costs, so the total at checkout is the total you pay. There are no additional charges on delivery.
• Duties and taxes are not refundable once an order has shipped.
• Orders can't be changed or cancelled once a shipping label has been created.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are displayed in GBP for UK customers and in local currency for international customers. UK prices include VAT. We accept the payment methods shown at checkout, and payment is taken when you place your order. If we discover a pricing error before dispatch, we'll contact you to confirm or cancel the order.

5. Product information

All product descriptions, images and sizing guides are as accurate as possible. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen, and garment measurements may vary by a small amount. If something's off, tell us and we'll do our best to correct it.

6. Delivery

Delivery options, costs and estimated times are shown at checkout. Estimates are given in good faith but aren't guaranteed. We're not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs processing or events beyond our control, but we'll always try to help where we can. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Please check your address carefully — we can't refund orders lost because of an incorrect address.

7. Returns, refunds and exchanges

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery, and size exchanges are available subject to stock. Items must be unworn, undamaged and unstained with tags attached. Full details, including conditions for international returns, are in our Returns & Refunds policy.

8. Faulty goods and your rights

If an item is faulty, damaged or not as described, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we'll replace or refund it, including return shipping. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013) or, for EU customers, under applicable EU consumer law.

9. Intellectual property

All content on this site — including designs, artwork, product names, photography, text and branding — belongs to Altered Studios or its licensors. By using this site, you agree not to reproduce, copy or distribute any content without our written permission.

10. Our liability

We're responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms, up to the value of the order concerned. We don't exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Privacy

We handle your personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you're a consumer resident in the EU, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings there.
